So close...Unbeaten in 3!

Well the Thunder played great in the 1st and 2nd period but it wasn't enough to hold off Waterford. After being up 3-0 heading into the third period, the Thunder had a 5 minute defensive let-down that gave the Wildcats some opportunities to get back into the game and tie it up with 3 minutes remaining in the game. Richard Goodwin and Zach Rogers each had shots ring off the posts in the dying minutes. This one was so close to being a win and all the players knew it in the dressing room. The final score was 3-3. Still it was a another good game by the Thunder. Scoring for the Thunder was, Richard Goodwin with 2 goals and
Riley Gray with 1 goal and 1 assist. Also adding assits were Brendan Roy, Craig Stefureak and Matt Macgregor. Shots were 19 -16 for the Thunder however, they gave up 10 shots in the 3rd period. Zach Rogers, Richard Goodwin, Nolan Putt, Craig Stefureak and Brendan Roy combined to win 28 face offs and while losing only 4. Nice work forwards!
